3B COUNSELLING

From Being through Believing to Becoming

How Can I Help?

Hi and welcome. I’m Tetiana, an Integrative Counsellor specialising in Compulsive Sexual Behaviours/Sex Addiction and Couples. I am ADHD informed and have extensive experience supporting clients with ADHD traits and executive functioning difficulties. I work with:

  • Individuals who feel overwhelmed, ashamed, or stuck in repetitive sexual behaviours that may be affecting their relationships, self-esteem, work, and life in general.
  • Couples and partners struggling with relationship strain, communication and intimacy issues, infidelity, and the impact of compulsive sexual behaviours.
  • Clients presenting with ADHD, autism, depression and anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, childhood trauma, bereavement and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, low self-esteem, historical physical and sexual abuse, relationship issues, PTSD, etc.

My Approach

My approach integrates, person-centred therapy (PCT), cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory and mindfulness practices to address the root causes of various issues. In addition, I use rewinding technique to help clients to process their intense emotions, especially it is effective in working with PTSD. I offer tailored, empathetic interventions that empower clients and help them to meet their unique needs.

PCT

Person-Centred Therapy (PCT)

PCT asserts that you already have the answers you need and, by using the three core skills of empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruence, you will be able to move to a better place on your own.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, sensations and actions are interconnected. It aims to help you deal with problems in a positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts.

TA

Transactional Analysis (TA)

TA recognises that the personality is made up of three ‘ego states’ (Parent, Adult, Child). It analyses interactions between these ego states and raises awareness of them as a way to solve emotional problems.

So What’s Next?

Coming to counselling can be quite a daunting experience: it takes a lot of courage to make that first step to healing which everyone has deep inside of them.

If you are interested in us working together, send me a text message or email to arrange a free 20-minute phone call to get a better understanding of whether we are the ‘right match’ and can work together before making any further commitments.

During the first session I will be aiming to find out more about you and how we can work together. We will possibly set a few points to focus on to achieve the best outcome. I will also be conducting some assessments to monitor your progress.

I conduct face-to-face therapy in Stockport. I also offer remote sessions (online and telephone).
